1. Unlock an Episode Early

  1. Open Pacing Management: Go to [[Parent Center]] → tap [[Pacing Management]];
  2. Find the video: Locate the series your child is working through;
  3. Tap Unlock Early: Tap the [[Unlock Next Episode Early]] button on the card;
  4. Done!: The next episode's lock lifts immediately — your child can play it from the home screen right away!

2. Will This Disrupt the Pacing Schedule?

  • Smooth carry-over: Unlocking early simply means "borrowing" the next scheduled slot in advance;
  • Seamless continuation: On the next scheduled pacing day, the app continues from where the schedule expects — no skipped, missed, or disordered episodes.

Beyond verbal rewards, you can list "unlock the next episode early" on your child’s Wish Wall (for example, priced at 5 stars).

Q: Does an early unlock break today's daily time limit?

No! The early unlock only opens the episode's content lock. Playback still fully follows your daily total limit and rest rules in [[Time Management]]. Eye-health boundaries stay solid.

Q: My child keeps begging to unlock early. What should I do?

Agree on clear conditions in advance: unlock only when a specific goal is met (like reciting a poem or getting dressed on time). Begging and tantrums never work — keep the rule firm and consistent.

Q: I tapped unlock by mistake. Can I re-lock it?

Yes! On the pacing detail page, tap the settings button next to the episode and choose "Re-lock" — it's locked again instantly.
