Parental Control Guide
The core of "Anxin Learn" is to empower parents with precise control. This guide covers time management, points system, and age-appropriate configurations.
1. Content Rating
Q: Does the App automatically filter videos based on child's age?
A: No. The App does not automatically block videos based on the entered "child age". The age input is mainly for parental records.
Q: How to ensure age-appropriate content?
A: The App provides powerful classification and video adding features, giving parents the ability to "curate" internet content. You need to manually gatekeep and select content suitable for your child.
Q: How to prevent children from seeing inappropriate content?
A:
- Source Control: The App can only play videos or channels actively added by parents. Children cannot search for random videos on the internet within the App.
- Bullet Comment Filtering: Bilibili videos have bullet comments off by default to avoid inappropriate text.
2. Time Management
Q: How does the daily time limit work?
A: Our timing system is strictly audited to ensure precise control:
- Precise Statistics: Only counts the time videos are actually playing. Time spent selecting videos, pausing, or staying in menus is not counted.
- Automatic Accumulation: Timing accumulates by "day". Watching one video and then another adds up.
- Daily Reset: The system automatically resets the used time at 00:00 every day.
Q: What happens when the limit is used up?
A: When the set time (e.g., 30 minutes) is reached:
- Video playback stops immediately.
- The screen is locked by the "Child Guard".
- Children cannot skip this by exiting; parents must answer a math question to pass "Parent Verification" to unlock or add time.
Q: How does Eye Rest Mode (Forced Rest) work?
A: It uses a variant of the "20-20-20" rule:
- Trigger: When continuous playback reaches a set value (e.g., 20 minutes), the video automatically pauses and the screen locks.
- Unlock: A set rest duration (e.g., 15 minutes) must pass before the screen automatically unlocks.
- Note: If you try to force unlock and watch during the rest period (e.g., only rested for 5 minutes), the timer will not reset.
